The weather forecast for the evening of Feb 23rd was not good; Storm Doris was doing her damage around the country and heavy rain and high winds were expected in Richmond.
This, however, did not put off an 'elite' group of runners who turned up for the Predictor Run. It was a lovely evening for running; so much for accurate weather forecasts!
Mark Sowerby was first home in a time of 28.23. Several runners were very close to their predicted times; Martin Randall - 9 secs out, Claire Stewart - 8 secs out, but the winner was Jan Ilsley who only missed her time by 5 secs. It was great to see Suzie McGann running, who is now living 'down south' and was here over the half term break. John Lynch slightly misjudged his effort and finished 2mins 23 sec slower than his prediction. A chocolate bar awaits you John!
Our final Predictior Run for the Winter season will take place on Thurs March 30th. It would be great to see a good turn out for this final run. Meet at the clubhouse at 6.30pm to register.
